We recognize that sustainable inclusion begins with empowering organizations, businesses, and individuals to embed disability-inclusive practices into their programs and services. The Capacity Strengthening for Inclusion and Empowerment (CSIE) program is designed to equip stakeholders with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to develop, implement, and monitor disability-inclusive initiatives effectively.
At Dasuns, we recognize that achieving disability inclusion in the workplace goes beyond compliance — it requires transforming mindsets, systems, and practices. Through our Capacity Strengthening for Inclusion and Empowerment (CSIE) program, we work with organizations, government agencies, and private sector entities to build the knowledge, confidence, and structures needed to foster truly inclusive work environments.
We support entities to embed disability-inclusive programming across their operations — from policy development and project design to implementation and monitoring. Our training modules promote mindset change, helping employers and teams challenge stereotypes, appreciate diversity, and embrace inclusion as a source of innovation and performance.
In addition, Dasuns provides technical support for inclusive recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring that persons with disabilities are not only hired but also meaningfully integrated and supported to excel in their roles. We guide partners on reasonable accommodation measures, workplace accessibility improvements, and inclusive communication practices that enable all staff to participate equally.
Our approach also leverages accessible digital and data systems to enhance participation and accountability. By promoting tools with features such as sign language interpretation, screen reader compatibility, and accessible survey interfaces, we ensure that disability inclusion is reflected in both human resource systems and organizational data practices.
Together, these efforts are creating workplaces that value diversity, champion equity, and empower persons with disabilities to contribute fully and thrive.
The program runs in four key phases, each designed to break down a specific barrier that limits the full participation of people with disabilities in the workplace. Every phase plays a crucial role in creating an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute and thrive.
In this phase, we initiate contact with companies or organizations to build a foundation for disability inclusion. We learn about their values and mission, enabling us to design a tailored approach tha delivers relevant knowledge and practical strategies for fostering inclusive workplace environments.
Once an organization commits to inclusion, they sign a Proof of Commitment, marking the start of a formal partnership between Dasuns and the organization. This agreement sets the foundation for synergy toward disability inclusion
Training on Disability Inclusive Programming is conducted during this phase and members are walked through on the “how” to include people with disabilities in all aspects of the work cycle.
In this Monitoring & Mentorship phase we arrange follow-ups on the progress of the actions decided on by the organization. We also provide technical support where needed to enable the member to reach their goals
