Inclusive Data For Development (ID4D)
“We can not reach the sustainable Development Goals Without utilizing the potential of Data; Including Data for the Marginalized Groups”
Sustainable
Development Data
We believe that inclusive data is the foundation of equitable development. The Inclusive Data for Development (ID4D) program is our response to the critical need for reliable, disability-inclusive data. By addressing data gaps and fostering inclusive practices, we aim to ensure that persons with disabilities (PWDs) are visible in national and community decision-making processes.
The ID4D program builds capacity through stakeholder training on disability data disaggregation, enabling participants to understand and implement inclusive data practices. We foster collaboration among Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), government bodies, and civil society organizations to promote the collection and utilization of high-quality disability data. Through advocacy and awareness campaigns, ID4D highlights the importance of integrating disability data into policies and development programs to ensure that no one is left behind.
Participating in the UN world Data Forum
Participants of the Co-creating Data Action in the Digital Age session pose for a group photo after an engaging discussion on promoting fair, inclusive, and accountable data practices. Hosted at the UN World Data Forum 2024 in MedellĂn, the session brought together global advocates and leaders to explore community-driven approaches to inclusive and human rights-centered data practices

Strengthening Data Processes
One of the key innovations within this program is the promotion of accessible tools for data collection. In partnership with Preignition’s Accessiblesurvey.com, we champion tools designed to include features such as sign language interpretation, read-aloud functionality, and customizable interfaces for individuals with disabilities. These tools ensure that disability data collection processes are inclusive, participatory, and contextually relevant. By bridging data gaps and fostering partnerships, the ID4D program lays the groundwork for policies and practices that empower PWDs to participate fully in education, employment, and community life. Together, we are building a data ecosystem that drives inclusive and sustainable development.
Sustainable Development Data Workshop
This workshop engaged in meaningful discussions on how we can challenge current practices and advocate for disability-inclusive data processes.
